Dear President Chou,
I thank you sincerely for your gracious invitation to attend your University's 21st anniversary celebration. It is a momentous occasion for your outstanding institution. Unfortunately, as the Universtiy of East-West Medicine is presently in the active process of moving to a new and larger facility, I find that my responsibilities are too considerable to allow me to attend. I would like to extend my congratulations to you and your University on reaching this considerable milestone and recognize its formidable achievements. This will surely be one of a great many important anniversaries to follow.
I am looking very forward to future exchanges between the National Taiwan Sport University and the University of East-West Medicine. I believe we can offer the best of both worlds to our students and to society at large,and am greatly encouraged and inspired by the benefits our mutual endeavors will bring. Again I thank you for your generous invitation,and extend my best wishes for a successful celebration.
